Made-to-order means the garment is individually cut out and sewn by hand in our Melbourne studio or by our local dressmaker. It eliminates the issue of wasted garments, minimises fabric waste and ensures no over-ordered garments which so often end up contributing to the ever growing problem of fashion landfill.
By adopting a made-to-order approach for selected styles we not only reduce our environmental impact, but also ensure that every piece is crafted with precision and care, created exclusively for you.

DEADSTOCK FABRIC
Deadstock fabrics are unwanted fabrics, which come from places like closed factories and manufacturers, or big brands that order too much or the wrong colour or type of fabric for what they wanted. It is typically deemed a waste product in the fashion industry and would otherwise end up in landfill.
We purchase deadstock fabric either straight from the source or from local Australian retailers who specialise in this type of material. We see deadstock fabric as a good way to upcycle perfectly good materials and help minimise waste.
